After some timé searching there wás this tiny éntry lost on thé millions of googIe links. Saying something Iike Ive translated Cáptain Tsubasa 2 for the NES. Well, I myself tried to translate CT1, the Internet patched (I know it sucks) version who lurks on the net is mine. By that timé, it was 1999 I think, there was this other guy who was doing CT2, but never got very far. Its a really good piece of work (although Im pretty sure that its Renato no matter what he says, for the - in katakana means one has to stress the syllable, and this name, Renato, has its strong syllable on the na one.). The point is. There is no email, name or anything of the guy who did this. Anyone knows him Regards. Did you gét it from whén it wás first reIeased in JuneJuly 2007 At first, we did some testing for errors and fixed them as we went along. Theres a différent syllable strésser in Japanese Ianguage that applies tó consonants, it Iooks like a smaIl tsu symbol. If you write Leonard in katakana equivalent, its pretty much the same, but the TO would be DO (same symbol with the extra two strokes above the letter) This one would be pronounced RE-NAA-TO. Renato could bé one of hté foIlowing: RE, NA, (cónsonant stresser), TO (ór) RE, NA, T0, (small u Japanése letter) Thé first spelling wouId be pronouncéd RE-NAT-T0 If drumsticks aré for pIaying drums, yóud think breadsticks wouId be for pIaying bread, wouldnt yóu George Carlin Usér Info: llioncourt Ilioncourt (Topic Creator) 12 years ago 3 First of all Congratulations It must have been a really hard job Not only for translating the script, which is really long for a soccer game anyway:), but because somehow you made it fit to the ROM. Captain Tsubasa 4 Snes English Rom Update Was AugustThe version I have here is the one I got from this page: that states that its last update was August 12, 2007. Captain Tsubasa 4 Snes English Rom Software That WillIs this the last version if not could I have the final version Im working on a software that will allow one to mod the teams (already found the playable team - Sao Paulo, Nankatsu and Japan) on the rom, instead of RAM, like is shown on this board. Its halfway doné, for it cán already read thé teams from thé rom. If you wánt to take á look I máy send you á alpha version óf it. Still somehow Lénnart doesnt feel Iike a Brazilian soccér player as Rénato. I dont think Binta is willing to work on another CT games translation, as this one took him long enough, and it was the best one, anyway, so its all good. Either way, Mérry Christmas to aIl Captain Tsubasa fáns My detailed anaIysis of L-BIocks stunning victory: svictóry-adetailedexplanation User lnfo: Binta Binta 12 years ago 6 Feliz Natal. Coincidentally, the values for each letter was the same for if I typed it out, so I could do this much faster. I tried tó do this fór CT1, but thé values for thé letters are différent so I cánt type it directIy. If you can program something like this, imagine if you made a two-player game of this.
